Jesus wants to hold us (support, accommodate, cover for protection), so that we no longer have to toil (work to exhaustion, battle, struggle, strife; move with difficulty, pain or weariness), but can rest (have peace of mind and spirit, freedom from labor and anxieties) while he carries our burdens (afflictions, trials, tribulations, cross).
